New Beginnings

Welcome to my new adventures! These past few months I have been working on discovering what I truly want out of life.  As a mother and a wife I put all of my focus on that and most of the time I forget about myself.  However, that leads to unhappiness.  So I have dedicated this blog and my health journey to my priorities.  I have always tried to be fit and I have been somewhat health conscious, but let me tell you a story.  Almost 14 months ago I became pregnant with a precious little boy and I assumed it was going to be an easy pregnancy just like it was with Cheyanne.  Boy was I wrong!  The first two months I was extremely sick and all I remember was laying in bed trying to keep food down.  I quit exercising because it was too hard on my body and put me in even more pain.  I gained a good amount of weight and yes I am STILL trying to lose it.  Motherhood is a blessing but man it sure takes a toll on your body.  I noticed when pregnant with Landon that every time I would consume any type of meat I would get sick, therefore, I rarely ate it.  That same feeling has continued even after his birth.  I used to LOVE meat, I'm not going to lie, but I absolutely hate the way it makes me feel and I am opening my eyes to what it really is....animals.  So I am making a change and for the better. I am known as a pescetarian, a vegetarian that eats fish and dairy.  I do not eat all dairy and that will be something I change over time as well. I am making this change in lifestyle to become the healthiest version of me that I can be.  I will be using this to document the whole process including my fitness endeavours.  This entails recipes, before and after pictures, and learning tools. This will also be a tool to be able to connect with others that have the same passion for health as I do.  I love to share and I hope others will do the same.  So the question is are you ready to embark on this journey with me and plant a new seed?
